The TCA Kids Club is a great way to learn about toy trains and how the hobby works. Kids Club members can get involved in a variety of activities, such as building and operating train layouts, running train races, visiting members’ layouts, attending special events, learning about how toy trains and layouts work, and much more. It all adds up to a lot of fun and a great chance to get into the World’s Greatest Hobby.
Kids Club members receive a membership certificate, a membership card, and a newsletter called Keeping Track. (Back issues of Keeping Track can be found at: Great stuff!). They are also eligible to participate in special offers for train purchases from time to time.
Membership is free to all children up to age 18. At age 18, Kids Club members can convert their membership into a full TCA membership, paying only half the regular member TCA dues until age 24. They can enjoy train meets, magazines, and newsletters, as well as free admission to the National Toy Train Museum in Strasburg, PA.
You can find an application and registration form for the TCA Kids Club here. To join the Kids Club, all you have to do is click the link, fill the form, and submit.
