On behalf of the Terminus Chapter, we hope that you and yours are all well and doing good. Please join us on December 2, 2017 for our TCA-Terminus Chapter Toy and Model Train Show at the Acworth VFW Post 5408 located at 4764 Cobb Parkway NW, Acworth, GA 30101. This show is open to the public. Setup times are from 7:00am to 9:00am. The show will run from 9:00am to 2:00. We will have a very brief business meeting at 9:00am and the show will commence immediately thereafter. Please remember to bring your GREEN & RED or RED & GREEN train items to exhibit on our TCA Member Display table up front. During our business meeting, we will be sharing with everyone about our November 29, 2017 lunch event that we will be providing and serving once again at the Atlanta Ronald McDonald House as our community outreach philanthropy project. We will have photos for all to view.
As a thank you for your support throughout the year and in keeping with the Holidays, the Terminus Chapter will once again be offering a FREE hot turkey lunch to every TCA member who sends us their completed registration form with their payment. The turkey lunch will consist of real roasted turkey, stuffing, real mashed potatoes, gravy, green beans, and tea. Eight foot tables are only $20.00 each with no additional registration fees. TCA member admission is only $3.00 each with your spouse admitted at no additional fee. So, if you plan to get a table, send in your $20.00 per table payment and completed registration form and you will receive a ticket when you arrive for your free hot turkey lunch. If you plan to come without a table, then send in your $3.00 admission fee and your completed registration form, and you will receive a ticket when you arrive for your free hot turkey lunch. If your spouse is coming with you, then please send in an additional $10.00 for their turkey lunch and indicate it on your registration form. You can print out the attached registration form or you may go to the www.dixiedivisiontca.com website and go to Terminus Chapter Events or Registration to print off your registration form there. Non-member admission is only $5.00 each with an accompanying spouse admitted at no extra cost. Children 17 and under are admitted at no cost with their accompanying parent. Please let us know if you should have any questions.
We have over 80 eight foot tables available for members to rent at only $20.00 per table with no additional registration fees. Access in and out is step less, flat, and easy to get in and out very quickly. There are plenty of available parking spaces. This venue is fantastic as it is only 10 minutes from I-75 and located on a major highway-Cobb Parkway or GA Hwy 41. As usual, we will have an operating O gauge layout for children to run and operate. The Dixie Division will have a table for the TCA Kid’s Club as well. In addition, we will once again have fantastic items for our silent auctions, member table vendor give aways, and a nice raffle prize. We attract lots of members and general public from Alabama, Tennessee, and of course from the surrounding Atlanta, Georgia area as well.
